So close!

Hallo and Happy Saturday!

Weighed in this morning...lost 1.1kg! Am now 76kg, which also puts me at my 10% loss! *GIANT HAPPY DANCE* Took my measurements again today, seeing as it's already been a month since the last lot!!! ARGH!

Bust: 100.5cm - 2.5cm loss
Waist: 89cm - 3cm loss
Hips: 111cm - 2.5cm loss
Thigh: 63cm - same
Arm: 34.5cm - same

So I am quite happy with that! No wonder my skirts are all falling down my bum and need to be hitched up all the time! It's even worse if I'm wearing a silky type knicker...then it's more often I need to hitch them up! Haha. I was putting off taking my skirts in under today when it was measurement day, otherwise I would know beforehand how much I'd lost from that area!

So next weigh in (1st May, my birthday, keep it noted! Haha) if I get down to 75kg, then I'd have reached my mini goal! I'm so excited. Then I'll only have 3kg to go until my current goal. After that I will have a think and change it again. Either 67 or 68 or something. Who knows!

Mum arrives from New Zealand on my birthday too! So it will be a quick weigh in that morning, then pick her up from the airport. Then come home and spend my birthday making pizza! Just going to have homemade pizza and a few drinks at our place with some close friends and family. If anyone knows a good anti-wrinkle/under eye cream let me know! Haha.

Not much in store for this week, applied for a few more jobs, haven't heard anything back yet, but fingers crossed. In may on Thursdays and Fridays I will be doing in-store promotions at supermarkets, so that will be a little bit helpful!

Better get going, our bearded dragons are wanting out!!!

A goal for myself...

So, I was thinking about it the other day, and I've decided I want to be 75kgs or less at my weigh in on my birthday, which is the 1st of May. So, I have just under 3 weeks to lose 2.2kgs. I'm not too worried about it, the youngen's thread on the WW website is doing a challenge to do 30 mins of exercise a day for 2 weeks, and yesterday I did an hour walk, and today I did the same walk, but with a little bit of jogging, so it was 50mins for me today.

I think it will be good! Dean has been saying he has definately seen a change in me, which is awesome! I still look in the mirror and think, nope, still the same size I was! But the weight and the measurements prove that it's definately going!

Almost middle of April already!

The date amazes me! I remember Christmas like it was yesterday, and it's almost my birthday! Yey! Bring on May 1st!

So it's been a couple of weeks or so since I wrote last, Easter was awesome! Went to Somerset Dam and camped for 3 nights, with lots of going out on the boat and swimming, managed to read 2 big books, slept a lot, and ate WAY too much crap! Had a pie for breakfast on the morning we drove up, then on the Sunday I ate a cream long donut (really freaking good!) and ate lots of white bread, bread rolls and hot cross buns! Weighed myself when I got back and it looked like I had put on 1.5kg (weighed on different scales than usual because mine weren't working) I was like, OOPSIES!!! But I've been very good all week with my eating...admittedly I haven't done any exercise, and I managed to get my scales to work (a good bashing helped) and I was the same as I was at my last weigh in, so that made me feel a bit better!

Had my weigh in this morning and ended up losing 400g, so I'm now 77.2kg. 5.2kgs to go until I'm at my current goal!

I have changed my WW membership to online only, so I have another month of going to the weekly meetings, then after that is just online. I don't stay for the meetings, just go to weigh in, and I use the etools a lot, and it will save $45 a month, so it definately makes sense don't you think?

Dean's parent's are coming over for dinner tonight, having roast chicken, roast pork, lots of yummy roast veges and I'm trying the Weight Watchers Creamy Lemon Tart recipe for dessert! Lot's of people have been raving about it, so it should be good!

Should get going and be a domestic goddess :)

Ehehe

Hallo!

Had my weigh in this morning, lost .9kg, which takes me to 77.6kg with a weight loss of 6.8kg. Been doing it for 12 weeks now, so I'm quite chuffed! Over the half way mark too, only have 5.6kg to lose to my current goal of 72kg, and 1.6kg until I've lost 10%! Very exciting.

Took my monthly measurements today too:
Bust: 103cm (total of 4cm gone from start date)
Waist: 92cm (total of 3cm gone from start date)
Hips: 113.5cm (total of 6.5cm gone from start date)
Arm: 34.5cm (total of 2cm gone from start date)
Thigh: 63.5cm (total of 6.5cm gone from start date)

So I'm glad I've also seen a change with my measurements since last month too! Gone out for walks with Mel for the last 3 mornings, and am still doing my pilates every second day. I took a couple of my favourite skirts in yesterday so I could wear them without them falling off me! Was definately a good feeling, and I can't wait to do it with more of them!

Thursday night dinner out with my friend from London was LOADS of fun. Met a couple of guys who are also from Wellington but been living here for 3 years/5 years, and they are lovely, and one of them lives not far from me so hopefully we will keep in touch and meet up for coffee at some stage! So thats me being a poser before going out, and me and Phil below that one! I don't go into the city much, and I love doing my makeup, looking pretty, wearing dresses and heels, so it was really good!


Dean's parents are coming over for a BBQ tonight, so some BBQ'd lamb chops with herbs, some chicken kebabs, salad, baby potatoes and maybe some nice rice!

Catching up with a friend!

I must admit, I am HUGELY excited for tomorrow night! A guy I know from back in Wellington, who then moved to London 4.5 years ago, will be in Brisbane tomorrow! So we are going to catch up and have a couple of drinks. They are going to go out to dinner afterwards, but I am going to have dinner beforehand seeing as dinner would end up being at about 9pm, I don't know where they want to go, and I am currently poor! But looking so forward to catching up with him, we had lots of good times back in Wellington!

I'm such a huge fan of Uncle Toby's Rolled Oats at the moment, make them up and put raspberries and blueberries with it, and a sprinking of brown sugar...4 points, super filling and so yummy!

I'm making the Weight Watchers "Slow cooker winter Pork Casserole" for dinner tonight. Really looking forward to it! Will post the recipe if it is any good :P

Eating this week is going good, gone over by 1 point a couple of times, my throat is really sore and I feel like I'm getting sick so I can't stop having cups of tea! Exercise is good this week! I am doing pilates every second day, have been doing some skipping, and today I am going to put on some dance music from the ipod and have a little boogie in the lounge! It's a nice sunny day too, so I may go out for a walk and put some more of my alteration flyers in letterboxes! (Trying to get some sewing alterations to do at home to earn a little bit extra money).

Weighed myself today, and am the same weight as I was on Saturday at WI, so I really need to get onto keeping into my points. Ugh! :)

New blog!

Right, so I just wrote a huge long blog and then accidentally deleted it! ARGH! So here I go again!

So, about me! I'm 23 years old, originally from Wellington, New Zealand, but now live in Brisbane, Australia. Have been here for 2.5 years now, moved over with my partner and his family. I've had an issue with my weight my whole life. When I left school at 16 I weighed 99 kgs, then by the end of my studying, a year later I had gotten down to 85 kgs, which I've put down to actually being happy with what I was doing and being around people that were genuine friends. When we moved to Brisbane, I think I weighed about 82 kgs, and tried the Celebrity Slim milkshakes...ugh! I think I was drinking those for just under 2 months, and got down to 78 kgs, but of course, as soon as I stopped I put the weight right back on!

I started Weight Watchers on the 9th January 2010 with my partners parents and his sister in law, which is really good, it's great motivation to go to weigh in's every week! So it's now been 11 weeks on the WW band-wagon, and I am actually really enjoying it! Haven't done any exercise while being on WW, just been keeping to my points and tracking, tracking, tracking! I have gone over my points a couple of times, but these things happen!

Week 1: 84.4 kgs - Start week - 09/01/10
Week 2: 83.9 kgs - .5 loss - 16/01/10
Week 3: 83.5 kgs - .4 loss - 23/01/10
Week 4: 83.6 kgs - .1 gain - 30/01/10
Week 5: 82 kgs - 1.6 loss - 06/02/10
Week 6: 81.2 kgs - .8 loss - 13/02/10
Week 7: 81.7 kgs - .5 gain - 20/02/10
Week 8: 78.9 kgs - 2.8 loss (was really sick this week!) - 27/02/10
Week 9: 79.5 kgs - .6 gain (not too bad after losing so much the week before) - 06/03/10
Week 10: 78.6 kgs - .9 loss (total of 5.8 kg loss at Week 10) - 13/03/10
Week 11: 78.5 kgs - .1 loss - 20/03/10

Bust: 107 cm
Waist: 95 cm
Hip: 120 cm
Arms: 36.5 cm
Thigh: 70 cm

Measurements at 27th February 2010:
Bust: 105 cm
Waist: 95 cm
Hip: 116 cm
Arms: 36 cm
Thigh: 63.5 cm

I'm only doing my measurements once a month, otherwise I will get too obsessed and do it all the time!
Anyways, I better get going and tidy up the house, will post again next week :)
